Born and raised in Bend, Oregon I became completely hooked on golf after only one trip to the driving range with my Dad during my freshman year of high school. During my time at Summit High School, I played all four years on the varsity squad and was a part of three state championship teams. When I was given the opportunity to play golf in college at St. Francis College in Brookly, NY, I jumped at the opportunity.

During my four years at Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, I played in every tournament, was the team representative for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and also placed significant emphasis on my studies as I often frequented the Dean’s list. The summer between my junior year and senior year of College, I completed my first internship with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) in tournament operations. The internship involved traveling around the country to organize and execute golf tournaments for 12-14 weeks. Watching golfers compete at such a high level and continuously improve their games was something that inspired me. I completed two (2) internships for the AJGA, and I graduated from Saint Francis College with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Sports Management.

My experiences playing collegiate golf and working with AJGA fueled my passion to become a golf instructor. I am extremely proud to be a part of the RedTail Family. I am excited every day whether I am teaching a private lesson or fulfilling my role as a lead instructor with the RedTail Junior Club to be the best instructor I can be. I feel blessed to be a part of such a great team here at RedTail.

I enjoy teaching golfers of all ages and skill levels. My teaching philosophy is straightforward and highly effective. I focus on creating a solid foundation and understanding of the fundamentals. You must have a solid core golf swing to improve and reach your goals. I make sure that both of us understand your goals, I develop a Personal Lesson Plan (PLP) that will be our roadmap to your success. A major part of my success a college golfer and now as an instructor is my patience and ability to connect with my students. I have a confident yet soft spoken nature that helps me motivate and communicate effectively with my students.
