My background in golf started with a junior golf membership at Emerald Valley Gold Club in Creswell, OR. As my game progressed, I started competing in many Oregon Junior Golf events around the state. I surpassed the opportunity to play for a small College in order to enroll at the University of Oregon. It was following my degree at the U of O where my interest in the golf business began.

Immediately following my graduation, I accepted the USGA sponsored P.J. Boatwright internship with the Oregon Golf Association. I spent the summer orchestrating junior golf tournaments around the state and developed a passion for organizing a golf outing. Following the internship, I was offered a position as an Assistant Golf Professional at OGA Golf Course as well as the first ever Executive Director of The Erling Jacobsen Tour.

Two years passed and I found myself in New York City working as a Golf Professional temporarily at Wykagyl CC before settling at The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers. After two years, my wife and I moved to Phoenix, AZ so I could further my career in the golf industry. Under the tutelage of Leo Simonetta, I became the Director of Golf Events at the Wigwam, a 54-hole Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed golf resort.

Following a few great years at The Wigwam, my wife and I knew it was time to head back to beautiful Oregon. I’ve been working with RedTail since December 2016 and enjoy spending time with our customers and co-workers.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling. My adventures have brought me to Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Kenya, Peru, England, France, Italy, Greece, and more.
